Your first startup with a Nebula PC
Welcome to your new build. Before its first start, remove the transport packing and connect your monitor and accessories. Keep the mains lead unplugged until the case is clear. Follow the steps below or use our illustrated setup guide for a closer look.
Unpack and check your build
- Place the carton upright beside a stable surface and cut along the sealing tape. Support the chassis from underneath as you lift, with a second person helping if it is heavy. Remove the outer wrap and foam. Keep the carton and all packing for future transport.
- Check the case and glass for damage before you connect any cables. Support the side panel while releasing its screws or latch, following your case’s opening method. Place the glass on a soft surface, clear of tiles.
- Carefully ease the packing away from the graphics card and cables. Stop if it catches on a component, anything is loose or you find transit damage. Take a photo and send it to Nebula Support before powering up. If your build has a custom coolant reservoir, complete the custom loop arrival checks as well.
Connect your setup and switch on
- Refit the panel and leave space around the case vents. For a PC with a separate graphics card, connect the monitor to a display socket on the card’s rear bracket. If your build uses integrated graphics only, use the motherboard display socket beside the USB ports.
- Plug in your keyboard and mouse. Attach the supplied Wi-Fi antenna if your build includes one, or connect an Ethernet cable to use your wired network.
- Connect power to the monitor and PC. Select the monitor input that matches your cable, set the rear power supply switch to I if fitted, and press the case power button once. Allow the first startup to finish before pressing anything again.
If the fans run but the screen stays blank, check the selected monitor input and where its cable connects to the PC. Our display troubleshooting guide helps you narrow it down. You can also send our team your order number and a photo of the rear connections for help with the next step.
